The Learn Together curriculum is the ethical education programme taught in Educate Together schools and is designed to nurture children’s moral, social, and cultural development in an inclusive and respectful way. Rather than promoting any one religion or belief system, Learn Together explores four key strands — Moral & Spiritual, Equality & Justice, Belief Systems, and Ethics & the Environment — helping children to understand themselves, others, and the wider world. Through discussion, storytelling, reflection, and active learning, pupils develop empathy, critical thinking, and respect for diversity. The programme encourages children to explore different worldviews and cultures in an age-appropriate way, while also building strong values such as fairness, kindness, responsibility, and active citizenship. Learn Together supports our commitment to equality and inclusion and provides a safe space where every child’s identity and background is acknowledged and respected.
